This is where the space takes shape: desk areas, desks, rooms, opening hours and the booking horizon. A space can only be published once the required details are in place.
How to
- Create and publish your spaceA new space is created in the browser. It goes public only once four start tasks are done.AppWeb
- Create desk areas and desksAreas group desks. A desk belongs to at most one area, and an area can sell seats instead of individual desks.AppWeb
- Create a roomA meeting room needs a name; capacity, equipment and a picture are optional.AppWeb
- Set opening hours and the booking windowOpening hours say when you are open. The booking window says how far ahead people may book. These are two separate settings.AppWeb
- Print the poster and the QR sheetThe QR sheet carries one code per desk, the poster one code for your space. selfdesk builds both as a PDF.AppWeb
- Adjust the look and feelYour space's logo and accent colour apply in the app and on the web, light and dark.AppWeb
When something does not work
- The last desk cannot be deletedWhile your space is public it keeps at least one desk and at least one bookable plan.AppWeb
- A task is open againThe attention state appears when a prerequisite lapses after the fact. Your space stays online.AppWeb
- Publishing failsThe switch jumps back because one of the four start tasks is still open.AppWeb
