A plan cannot be archived
A plan only goes out of circulation once no active contract points at it. For the last visible plan of a public space there is a second lock.
What you see
You archive a plan and the app refuses. Deleting does not exist at all: a plan is archived, not removed.
Why
Two reasons are possible.
- Active contracts still hang off it. A plan is the basis everything is billed against. If it were gone, a running contract would have no price.
- It is the last plan members can pick and your space is public. Then the same lock applies as for the last desk: a public space without a selectable plan cannot sell anything.
What you can do
- Move the members to another plan first. The change applies on the 1st of the following month, and the old plan is free after that. See Change a plan members are on.
- If the plan should merely stop being picked, take its visibility away instead of archiving it. In the app the switch is called Publicly visible, on the web Available for member selection. Existing contracts run on, new ones do not come.
- If it is about the last selectable plan, create another one first, or take the public page off the net. See The last desk cannot be deleted.
- You bring an archived plan back with Restore.
