The four legal documents of your space

Four documents sit under Legal texts. They differ in who writes them and in what makes them change.

That includes:

• Only the terms of use are an upload and therefore optional. See Upload your terms of use.
• The price list proves what a plan costs. That a particular person signed up for that plan at that price is proven by their contract confirmation. See Price list.
• After a plan change, Setup shows the task Regenerate the price list with the note that it still shows the old prices. Only a click on Regenerate creates the new version.
• If nothing has changed in substance, no new version is created. The app says so.
• Earlier versions are kept because they prove which version a member accepted.
• A version that still states net prices is flagged, and selfdesk offers to generate a new one. Existing versions are left alone, because an issued document is a record.
• Terms of sale, right of withdrawal and price list are edited on a computer. For those three the app only shows where they stand, with the note edit on a computer.
