Move or withdraw a contract before it begins
If a contract has not begun and nothing runs beside it, you change its start or withdraw it entirely in the member's record.
A member cannot move or withdraw a contract you prepared from an import list. The app asks them to let you know. You then change it in the member's record. This works for any contract that has not begun.
Move the start
- Open the member's record. The contract that has not begun shows Change start date and Withdraw contract.
- Tap Change start date.
- Pick the date under New start and tap Save.
A desk planned from the contract's first day moves with it. The row in the import list gets the new date.
Withdraw the contract
- Open the member's record and tap Withdraw contract on the contract.
- Confirm with Withdraw.
The contract is deleted, and a desk planned for it becomes free again. If the contract came from an import list, the row then shows Revoked, and its invitations stop working.
What applies here
- Both buttons only appear while the contract has not begun and the member has no running contract beside it. A new contract behind a running one is a plan change; you change that there.
- The new start is today at the earliest.
- If you move the start earlier and the planned desk is still taken until then, selfdesk refuses the change. Pick a later start or free the desk first.
- selfdesk sends the member no message about either. Tell them yourself.
