Conclude the data processing agreement

Selfdesk processes your members' and guests' data on your behalf. The space's owner concludes the agreement for this (DPA, Art. 28 GDPR) in Selfdesk by agreeing to it.

You are responsible for your members' and guests' data. Selfdesk, that is Ausguck GmbH, processes it on your behalf. The data processing agreement covers that. Whoever creates a new space concludes it together with the terms in the same tick.

  1. Open the agreement.

    In the app

Open Setup, then in Legal the row Data processing (DPA).

    On the web

Open Setup, then in Legal the row Data processing (DPA). You also find it under Settings → Legal documents.
  2. Read the agreement opens the text at selfdesk.app/avv.
  3. Choose Agree. This concludes the agreement in the version shown for your space, and the row reads current.
  4. Download as PDF gives you the agreement with your legal details and the time you agreed.

What applies here

  • Only the space's owner can agree. Admins see the status and download the PDF.
  • The PDF names you with the details from your legal details. If they change, the PDF changes with them the next time you download it. See Maintain your legal details.
  • As long as a public space has no agreement in the current version, setup shows a notice. The page stays public.
  • When Selfdesk adds or replaces a service provider, there is a new version. You get a mail beforehand and agree to the new version in Selfdesk. If you object to a new provider for a data protection reason, you can do so within 30 days.
  • Services you connect with your own account, such as Stripe, Lexware Office or Nuki, are not part of this agreement. You have your own contracts with them.
