The room cannot be deleted

What you see

Deleting shows Cannot delete room. In the app it adds "This room has future bookings. Please cancel them first."

Why

Before deleting, the server checks two things:

• Is there a booking for this room from today on?
• Is there a running series whose rule still reaches today or beyond?

If either applies, the room stays. A series counts as a future booking even when you cannot find a single date for it in the day plan.

Past bookings do not stop the deletion. They hang on billing and documents, so deleting the room deletes none of that.

What you can do

1. Open the day plan and the booking list and go through the coming days for this room.
2. Cancel the future bookings. The member gets an email about it.
3. If it hits a series date, cancel the whole series rather than the single dates. See Manage room bookings and series.
4. Delete the room again.

If you only want to take the room off sale and leave the bookings alone, turn off Offer for sale instead. Strangers then stop buying it while members keep booking it.
