selfdesk never changes your lock configuration
selfdesk opens and locks your lock, nothing else. Your own Nuki settings and schedules are left alone.
selfdesk uses your Nuki lock, it does not configure it. Exactly three things run over the connection: reading the state, opening and locking. Everything you set in the Nuki app stays the way you set it.
- Schedules stay. A nightly locking schedule you created in Nuki keeps running. The connection screen recommends exactly that as a safety net in case the last person forgets to lock up.
- Users and permissions in Nuki stay. Whoever gets door access in selfdesk does not become a Nuki user. The two lists are separate.
- Auto lock and device settings stay. selfdesk writes nothing back to the device.
- The token is yours. It is stored encrypted, and Disconnect removes it again. After that selfdesk opens nothing in this space.
- Every space has its own account. There is no shared account through which selfdesk could reach the doors of several spaces.
