Card details live at Stripe

When you store a card or a bank account, you enter the details into a window from Stripe, not into a selfdesk form.

What follows from that:

• Your card number and your bank details live at Stripe. selfdesk only stores a reference, the last four digits and the status.
• Neither your space nor selfdesk can see your full payment details.
• If your bank asks for an extra confirmation, that happens between you and your bank. Your space cannot give it for you either, see My card asks for a confirmation.
• The money goes straight to your space. selfdesk is not your contract partner for the rent.
• If you remove a method, that takes effect at once. It is not charged afterwards.
