Check-in and door are two things
The check-in counts the day, opening grants entry. Neither one requires the other.
Side by side the two actions look like one, but they are separate.
| | Check-in | Open door | |---|---|---| | Purpose | confirms you are here today | grants you entry | | Effect | counts the day against your allowance and your invoice | pulls the bolt back | | Requirement | a plan that counts days | active contract plus access to that door |
What follows from that:
- A door still opens when you have not checked in today.
- A check-in does not open a door.
- If your plan needs no check-in, for example with a fixed desk, the button does not appear at all. You still open doors.
- If you forgot to check in, add the day afterwards. See Add past days.
- There is no QR code on a door. The code is stuck to the desk and is for booking.
