Prices are gross
The big number is always the price including tax. Net and tax sit underneath as a detail line.
Everywhere in selfdesk the headline figure is the gross price, which is what you pay. That holds for your plan, for room hours, in the kiosk and on the invoice.
- Next to or under the price sits the tax rate. Net and tax appear as a detail line underneath, because you need them for your books.
- The tax rate is set by your space, not by selfdesk. Common rates are 19 percent or 7 percent.
- If your space is a small business, the invoices show no VAT at all.
- In the kiosk every product carries its own rate. A receipt or a kiosk invoice can therefore mix several rates, for example drinks and food.
- Tax is taken out of the total once per rate, not per position. That is why preview, receipt and invoice agree down to the cent.
- If the tax rate on your invoice is wrong, that is a setting of your space. Ask them first.
