What does a small space need – and what is it worth to it?

selfdesk already exists, and we have worked out a price. Before we decide what the software should do next, we ask the people who would use it: what do you do by hand today, what should a software take off your hands – and does our price fit you?

As a thank-you you get the market overview – summarised, without individual answers: what spaces your size work with, what they would hand off and what that is worth to them. And a software built on what you tell us here.

selfdesk is made by Ausguck GmbH in Kiel, Germany; behind it is Felix Meißner. We build software for a living and rented a backyard office because we love the place. Since we cannot fill the room on our own, we let 16 desks as coworking spaces. We built selfdesk so that this administration no longer costs us any work; every feature runs at our own space first – with real members, real invoices and a real door. Because it helps us, we are now turning it into a product – with the aim that it helps small spaces as much as it helps us. Which features it needs, we cannot decide on our own. We have worked out a price; whether it works for you and for us, we only know once you tell us. For that we need your help.

We are members of CoWorkLand eG, the cooperative of rural coworking spaces. CoWorkLand and selfdesk are working towards a partnership, with the aim of building a software tailored to the cooperative's spaces.
